Sterex Advanced Cosmetic Procedures

Sterex - Knowledge, Skill, Expertise

What is Sterex ACP? This is Electrolysis using a diathermy method (by use of a sterile heated needle) for the removal of skin imperfections.  A treatment time can vary from 5 minutes to 20 minutes dependant upon number of lesions for treatment, so you can be in and out in no time.

How it works. A sterile needle is used which has a direct electrical current running through.  This cauterises the lesion enabling safe removal.  There is no damage to surrounding healthy tissue.  It`s so incredibly accurate and practical.  Numbing cream may be used for some lesions.

Sterex ACP FAQ

The Skin Tag may be removed or just cauterised and appear a dark colour this will eventually fall off.  Some lesions removed from the skin may appear white and a scab will develop over the treatment area. This should not be touched and allowed to heal normally.  Healing can take between 2 to 3 weeks.  New fresh skin will replace the lesion and this can be unpigmented initially apply good sun protection SPF30+ on the skin to protect it from harmful UV rays.

The actual treatment time can vary from 5 minutes to 20 minutes dependant on the surface area and thickness of the tissue being treated, together with number of the lesions for treatment.  Sometimes a second treatment may be recommended if there are multiple lesions for removal.

Electrolysis treatment was carried in 1875 and is proven both effective and totally safe.  In 1982 Sterex revolutionised Electrolysis when the first ever sterile single-use needles were used.

A small burst of energy is released into the lesion and a sensation will be experienced like a tingle, heat or a minor sting.

Sterex Aloe Vera can be applied to the aid healing of the skin and has a cooling anti-bacteria effect on the skin.
