Dermaplaning
What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning removes the Vellus Facial hair (peach fuzz) and dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. The skin will feel clean, smooth and radiant. This will allow greater penetration of topical products into the skin and make-up will glide over the skin giving that flawless look. Great for any special events or to maintain optimum skin health.
How it works.
A sterile scalpel is used at a 45-degree angle to gently scrape the skin and remove fine hair, dead skin cells and old make up on the surface of the skin. This is followed by a gentle but effective enzyme peel to breakdown congestion under the skin. Then an AHA booster is applied topically to gently hydrate and further exfoliate the skin. LED can be added after this stage for optimum skin health to aid healing, encourage Collagen growth, and decrease any slight redness after the treatment. A delicious Ceramide Mask is then applied to nourish, calm and soothe the skin. Lastly a sunscreen SPF50 is applied to protect the skin.
The Celluma LED increases cellular energy resulting in increased micro-circulation, tissue repair, reduces redness and creates an antibacterial effect on the skin.
