As 2025 comes to an end and we put down our dental instruments for Christmas, I wanted to express my deepest gratitude for your continued support this year. Like many independent businesses, the past year has been tough, but it’s also been filled with so many wonderful moments that have given us a fresh sense of purpose.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been over the moon about the arrival of George’s (our wonderful practice manager) beautiful twins, Pippa and Penny.
Kirsten and Jack recently got married; Harry joined us here during November and December after graduating from Sheffield School of Clinical Dentistry last year. Looking ahead to 2026, Harry is hoping to rejoin us for the occasional day to ease the pressure on Chloe’s diary, as Naomi is due to go on maternity leave at the end of February.
We will be sad to be losing our amazing Dental Nurse, Hannah, in early 2026. She has been a huge asset to the team and simply a joy to have at the practice.
As Hannah leaves, we are thrilled to let you know that Georgie O’Neil will be joining us as our Sales and Marketing Coordinator

Festive opening hours and emergency contacts
The practice will be closed from Tuesday, December 23rd, at 7:00 pm. We’ll be back in action on Friday, January 2nd, at 8:30 am.
We hope you don’t need our services during the festive season, but if you do end up with a nasty toothache, don’t hesitate to give us a call. Fees in 2026
Running a small business has never been easy, but lately the economic climate has made it especially challenging. From the very beginning, one of our main goals has been to provide the highest quality of treatment with a personal touch and outstanding customer care. You have come to know us, our lives and our families and the people behind the masks. We have always been open and transparent and to that end I have shared with many of you how tough the last 2 years have been and how our overheads have soared. We know you are also feeling the pinch, but in order to keep providing the same quality of care we have had to make a small adjustment to our pricing. We have made every effort to keep this as minimal as possible so have kept our increase in line with the NHS uplift of 3% for 2026. We hope you understand the fundamentals of this decision and we cannot thank you enough for continued support, your kind reviews and recommendations to friends and family.
A Small Favour
On a brighter note, we’re super proud of our team and the amazing reviews we’ve received on Doctify. But there’s nothing quite like word of mouth, right? Our hygiene books are getting full, but we’re still happy to welcome new patients. If you know anyone looking for a dentist, please spread the word! We’d be thrilled to see them.
5 Stars Paediatric Clinic!
Our paediatric clinic, 5 Stars, officially opened its doors in early 2025! We’re thrilled to offer this to our younger patients. Led by the lovely Dr Kirsten Simpson, our clinic offers a range of treatments for children, both with and without sedation. This helps us reduce external referrals and minimise wait times for advanced treatments.
